Just one Melges 24 from Charleston is attending Key West Race Week. Guy Mossman is there on Riot Act. Guy’s crew includes Ned Goss, Karen Sproul, Carolina Davila from Charleston and Bucky Buchanan from Annapolis.
They passed weigh in by 1 pound today and will be practicing on Sunday.
Ned will be the tactician and jib trimmer. Bucky will be pulling on the kite. The ladies will be up front.
Several people predicted this would be Guy’s highest finish ever at Key West.
In addition to Guy and crew, I think Jessica is sailing with Kolius again and I think Amy is sailing with Flavio. Does anyone know that to be true? Chris Hamilton chartered his boat to a team from Sweden (Team Jacuzzi), so we will have to see how they are doing.
