Ooooh. That looks cold.
Today, during the practice race, the breeze is supposed to hit 20 knots, but the high will only reach 52 degrees.
Too bad the breeze is forecast to decrease throughout the week.
The regatta starts Wednesday.
Charleston Boats Prepare for Melges 24 North Americans Sunday, October 26, 2008

Charleston is sending many of its best sailors to Annapolis for the Melges 24 North Americans. Most of the teams were leaving on Sunday or Monday. They include:
* Steve Kopf’s “Blur” — the team will be sporting their new hull 773; Michael Miller is expected to call tactics
* David Dabney on Reggie Fairchild’s “Wireless” — Ned Goss, Anne Bowen and Tracy Pleimann from Charleston will be crewing; Brian Boyd from Annapolis will also be on board
* new Charleston fleet captain Chris Hamilton will be driving “PBR Street Gang”
* Guy Mossman was at Carolina YC today packing up “Riot Act”
In addition honorary Charleston boat, “Cre843″ will be skippered by Miami resident Cary Siegler and crewed by Brian Zimmerman, Seth Siegler and Beth Allen.
