Three time All-American & College Sailor of the Year at College of Charleston, Chris Larson will be racing at the the Nationals. This will be his first time sailing in Charleston in 20 years. He graduated from CofC in 1988.
Chris has a storied sailing career. He was the Rolex Yachtsman of the Year in 1997.
He was the Melges 24 US National Champion in 2006.

Winner of Charleston Race Week in 2007, Simon Strauss will be back to try to capture the National Championship.
Simon has raced in Charleston a number of times and is very accomplished on the National Melges 24 circuit. He and his crew won the Northeast District in 2007.
2007 crew member Justin Walling will be racing “Team PAGAN Racing” at the Nationals. Mr. Clean is expected to be covering the Nationals for Sailing Anarchy.

Alan Field is all set to race in Charleston. In 2006, he and Steve Hunt won the US SAILING’s invitational Championship of Champions. He and his crew have had success in several classes.

Travis Weisleder is rumored to have a Corinthian crew for the Nationals. At the 2008 Charleston Race Week regatta, which he won, he had several sailors that are returning for the Nationals.
Scott Nixon will be driving from himself on “Quantum Racing” and Justin Chambers is expected to sail with his brother Darren Chambers on “Image Freeway.”
