Melges 24 Charleston

PALMETTO BREEZE is offering spectators the chance to watch the 2008 Melges 24 U.S. National Championship up close.  Here are all the details:

Palmetto Breeze -- Spectator Boat for Nationals

Designed and built locally, Charleston’s spacious 1700 sq.ft. 100 passenger catamaran PALMETTO BREEZE provides both comfort and speed with dual diesels, 2 bathrooms, covered cushioned seating, stereo and bar.  Set sail from Charleston Harbor Marina at Patriot’s Point to sail along with the world’s best competitors!  Bottled water and soft drinks $1 each, domestic beer $2, imported beer $3, glasses of wine $3.  No coolers please, but please feel free to bring your picnic basket.  Sailing 11:30am-3:00pm, Friday, Sept. 19th, $40 per person, and 11:30am-3:00pm, Sat.
